We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Promotion Officer to join our sales and marketing team. As a Sales Promotion Officer, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating promotional activities to drive sales and increase brand awareness. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product management, to develop and execute effective sales promotion strategies that align with our business objectives. Your goal will be to attract customers, generate leads, and enhance brand visibility in the marketplace.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales promotion strategies and campaigns that align with the overall marketing and sales objectives.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify target audiences, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
- Plan, organize, and execute sales promotion activities such as product demonstrations, in-store promotions, trade shows, exhibitions, and other events.
- Create compelling promotional materials, including brochures, flyers, posters, and digital content, to effectively communicate product features and benefits.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and external agencies to ensure timely production and delivery of promotional materials.
- Work closely with the sales team to train and educate them on promotional activities and provide the necessary support to achieve sales targets.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sales promotion campaigns, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and prepare reports on campaign results.
- Conduct post-promotion analysis to identify successes, areas for improvement, and insights for future campaigns.
- Collaborate with product management to develop and launch new products, ensuring effective sales promotion strategies are in place.
- Stay updated on industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and improve promotional efforts.
- Maintain effective communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and product teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in sales promotion, marketing, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles and strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence customers.
- Creativity and innovative thinking to develop compelling and impactful sales promotion materials and activities.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
